User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030507 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030507 On a very few occasions, I have been operating mozilla 1.4b mail and upon attempting to delete THE FIRST TIME SINCE MOZILLA MAIL WAS LOADED the selection of the mail element (turns blue) followed by pressing the DELETE button causes the computer as a whole to "lock up". In such situations, pressing ctl+alt+del does NOT get you to the Windows Security/Task Manager button page as normal. The user is forced to reset the computer and reboot. When the computer is rebooted, all but a very few emails in the INBOX are deleted. This has happened to me three times now Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: inbox email was missing all but a few. Expected Results: not deleted the email There were no error messages as the computer completely locked up.
A complete system lockup with Win2k is indicative of a hardware/driver problem. -> INVALID OP: Your event viewer may give indication of what the real issue is. A hard drive that is starting to fail, for example. Email me directly if you need assistance.

No.. This was fixed LONG AGO in 1.4. I guess this proves that if you leave a problem open LONG ENOUGH, you can fix it and blame it on something else. :)
