Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425 Each time it starts, and as you browse different mail folders, Mail leaves port connections open to the imap server (Cyrus), eventually, it becomes impossible to browse mail folders on the server. On the client machine each time a folder is browsed, a port connection is left open (in TIME_WAIT state as viewed on TCPView) on the server the port connection appears to be left open. Eventually the client PC needs to be rebooted to clear the open connections and restore functionality. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start TCPView (sysinternals.com) 2. Open Mozilla Mail 3. browse several imap folders 3. note imap connections 4. close MAil 5. note imap connections left in TIME_WAIT state Actual Results: Several port connections left in TIME_WAIT state If Mozilla browser is open at the same time after Mail is closed, the ports are left open in the "ESTABLISHED" state. Expected Results: Closed all port connections.
