User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 If I load http://aviationweather.gov the computer locks up requiring the use of the reset button, <Alt><Ctrl><Del> is useless. Seems like 191405 and 198600 but with NT and a newr build of mozilla. No lockup or report (message bar) of script error if I.E. is used to access the site. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.goto http://aviationweather.gov 2.Page appears to load normally, but computer is totally locked up. 3. Actual Results: No report, its locked up to tight to report anything. Expected Results: Not lock up. I have had this happen on other pages that I do not have the URLs for. Happens everytime with this URL.
Same lock up occurs with Netscape 4.77. Netscape 6.2 and 7.02 CAN load the page WITHOUT locking up.
WFM, Win2k build 20030520 Reporter, can you try with a more recent build. 1.3 has been susperceeded by 1.4beta and 1.3.1. Can you get the same fault with either of these?
WFM Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030523 WFM Netscape Communicator 4.8 BuildID 2003052304, Win98SE
Still locks up with 1.3.1. I'll let someone else try 1.4 beta, I've had enough resets for one day.
WFM as well, v1.4b (build 20030507 on WinXP).
A lockup for windows NT means that there is something wrong with your system. Only a kernel mode driver running on CPU ring 0/1 can cause this. (and Mozilla doesn't installk additional drivers) It doesn't matter if other application doesn't cause this hang. (and NS4.7x hangs your your system, too) -> invalid (try to upgrade your video drivers)
