Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425

Error message as follows: "Unable to locate component: Application has failed
because xpcom_compat.dll was not found. Re-installation may fix this problem"
Message reappears each time Mozilla is opened. Mozilla opens underneath error
message, and can be accessed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Self extactor
2.Begin installattion
3.Finish installation and restart

Actual Results:
Error message above displays on desktop. I am, however, able to open Mozilla in
the background, close the error report, and use Mozilla.

Expected Results:
Once installation and restart were complete, Mozilla should have opened on
command, without the error message.
Moving to XPCOM, Doug any ideas. This sounds more like an installation issue.
