User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030519 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030519 After deleting an EMail the mail message window and the subject list in the mail window are not in sync. In the mail window a different message is highlighted than the displayed EMail. This is confusing. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.view your EMails as threads 2.double click on an EMail to get an external message window 3.delete the highlighted EMail by pressing [DEL]. The EMail is deleted. 4.the next EMail in your list is highlighted now, and another EMail is displayed in the message window. But these are _different_ EMails! Actual Results: by accident I read the EMail in the message window, and pressed DEL to remove that message, too. But a completely different EMail was removed. (I was confused, as written before :-) Expected Results: the external message window and the highlighted EMail in the mail front end should be kept in sync, if the message window is forced to display another message by removing an EMail in the mail window.

This problem has been fixed relating to deletion of emails under: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr-FR; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 (the suite/seamonkey) (Email content window now correctly updated after delete, which was a problem in the past.) However a similar problem still exists, regarding the email in the detail window not corresponding to the email selected in the folder name and folder detail lists, under other circumstances, which could result in deleting the wrong email. Will open a new bug if I don't find it elsewhere.
I experienced a similar bug 364897, which I have filed as separate. Jon
this seems fixed on my Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.9b5pre) Gecko/2008032301 SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre. Should be closed.
