User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030507 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030507 I found a similar bug, that is old and for Linux and just want to point out I have the same problem under windows, too. This file creates the problem: nppl3260.dll I think RealOne is an important player and it doesn'T allow having RealPlayer GBasic installed at the same time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 0.presume you have the RealOne player installed, wich installed it's plugins into mozilla\plugins 1.open that url http://www.tagesschau.de/ 2.find one of the plain video symbols and click it Actual Results: 3.a window opends and mozilla crashes Expected Results: video should play I don't know if this problem comes from mozilla, as it is an plugin. But I hope there was one Netscape version this plugin worked with show it should be possible getting this running even it's not mozillas "direct" fault. On the other hand could Real.com be contacted in that situation, to fix their problem.
Deleting the dll file will fix the problem (see bug 191643). The real crasher bug should be fixed in today's builds with bug 159445. Marking WFM.

Thanx for the reply even though I don't understand it. After deleting the file, the pages show a missing plugin. So it only heled prevnting to start a plugins that causes a crash, but doesn't make the movie go. The URL given in the first bug report you mentioned crashed even then and I tried the latest nightly 20030528
