User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 1.0.3705) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030507 In the page at http://www.aqua.co.nz/saben/ (may shortly be replaced by http://www.saben.co.nz/) rolling the mouse over the drop-down menus accessible through the links at the top of the page results in a browser crash. Windows reports it as a illegal exception error in GKLAYOUT.DLL Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to page listed above. 2. Roll mouse over the Collections menu item, then over either of the entries in the drop-down menu which then appears 3. The application will crash. Actual Results: Standard windows "sorry, this program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down" message. Expected Results: Displayed the pop-up menus as per IE or Opera, and to a lesser extent, Netscape. I have attached the Dr Watson log file of this crash.
This was the log file produced by Dr Watson immediately after the bug was encountered.
Attached file Test case.
Is it possible that you try a nightly build ? (you can use a .zip build and unzip it in it'sd own directory) This should be bug 191627 (see also 204866). Your testcase is wfm with a current nightly...
WFM: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030604 I did notice highlight problems in the "about saben" menu. "history" and "press" would stay highlighted even if a different menu was pointed to and then back again.
Bug Day: 1-13-2004 Tested With: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040113 Tested both the site, and the test case. Neither seem to cause any problems on my build.
I got three other "WFM" closing bug. If you can recreate with a recent version we'll reopen the bug.
