User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 When I insert an image and specify the alternate text to be used, that text is not retained. I upload reports to a server that requires alt text and I need to go back and put them in with a text editor every time. It does not seem to matter if I do this through the menu (Insert -> Image) or if I right-click the inserted image and get to the properties that way. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open new Composer window. 2. Go to Insert -> Image. 3. Make sure radio button for alternate text is selected. Enter alt text. 4. Hit OK. 5. Check HTML tab for alt text in the script. Usually it says alt="". Actual Results: I inserted two images, no alt text on the first image, alt text appeared on the second one. Expected Results: Composer should retain the alt text everytime those properties are specified. The program does not crash with this bug.
This is reported against a build that is very old. I don't see a problem with my debug build on mac from this week. Resolving as worksforme. Reporter (Dennis Shubitowski)--please test with a newer build and comment here if you still see the problem (requesting that bug be reopened).

I downloaded the latest public release 1.3.1, tried again as described and got the same problem. I have not tried 1.4 beta.

Please try 1.4 daily or 1.4beta; 1.3x is quite old.
