Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.0.3705)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425

PC is set to GMT + 1000, non in daylight savings. Mozilla reports time as
1 hour ahead of time stamps.

Eg.
Date field shows: 5:25pm
Received headers show: from ALPHA1.ITS.MONASH.EDU.AU ([130.194.1.1])
by mail1.monash.edu.au (Netscape Messaging Server 4.15) with
ESMTP id HFOSIQ00.JM9 for <bmellis@mail1.monash.edu.au>; Fri, 30
May 2003 16:25:38 +1000

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Looked at the time reported on the e-mail and noticed it was an
hour ahead
2.
3.

Actual Results:
The time was an hour ahead.

Expected Results:
Date: 4:25

Reporter, is your bug a dupe of bug 173242 ?
I see this problem now on 1.5 OS X.

Look at the message source below. I see that the time displayed on Mozilla
MailNews pane is 1 hour ahead of its original time. It displays 17:35 instead of
16:35.

My guess is that there is some mismatch with +2.00 and +1.00 CED zone timing.

This happens only for these kind of messages from that sender.

Other messages from other people are right.

The sender confirms me that if he writes a message to himself, time is
correct... He uses such FoxMail client, I don't know if there is some
incompatibility with Mozilla.

Similar behavior found for Exchange invitation via IMAP - after cancel of daylight savings in Russia all received invitation displayed with shift for 1 hour. No problem between Exchange<->Outlook, patches for Windows are installed.
Does anyone still see this problem?
