Doubleclicking on an attachment handled by a plugin (e.g. pdf) doesnt work (download manager starts but no data is displayed). The problem is solved if a browser window is manually opened. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.shut all browser windows 2.open mail/news client 3.doubleclick on a plugin-handled attachment (e.g. pdf) Actual Results: attachment isn't displayed Expected Results: open a browser window and display the attachment
I have had exactly the same problem with all the 1.4 versions tested (for Solaris 2.6/2.7/2.8) The last tested is : Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030530
