This presents a big problem in the work environment if many people used mozilla to forward/reply to an email. There would be no reference to when the email was originally sent. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Reply to an email 2.mozilla does not put a date on the original email. 3. I heard there is a preference to add the date to an email I reply to but I do not know it by heart. It will take me 1/2 hour or more to do something that should only take 2 minutes. This should be in the preferences.

The preference is bug 23615. For a discussion of adding a GUI, see bug 78101 or bug 107884. See also bug 180299. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 78101 ***
