User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030529 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030529 I installed mozilla and even rebooted, but when I right-click on an html file, windows presents me with an option to open ti the program, and mozilla is not in the list. Seems like it ought to be? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Right-click on an html file. 2. Select option open with this program 3. Actual Results: Looked in list but did not see mozilla Expected Results: Mozilla should be in this list of programs associated with html files? Tell windows about its file associations, without claiming to be the default browser?
This is invalid. Windows only generates this list based on programs it knows has opened these kinds of files in the past. If you dig further into Open With..., you will see Choose Program, and mozilla is listed in there. This is something mozilla cannot set for itself (unless, of course, it becomes the default application.)
