User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030529 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030529 right click on a link and choose "open in new tab"... tab opens and page loads but does not become "top" tab... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. right click on link 2. choose "open in new tab" 3. Actual Results: tab opens but doesn't become "top" tab... Expected Results: new tab should have opened on "top" of other tabs...
additional to this: when selecting to open a link in a new tab from email and other tabs are already open in the browser, the browser and new tab do not come to the top (z order?) and take focus... additionally, switching over to the browser shows the tab at the bottom of the "z order"... this is completely unlike what 1.4a and 1.3 did...
Is this unchecked Edit-> Preferences ->Navigator -> Tabbed Browsing -> Load links in the background ?
ugh!! my bad... i was thinking that that was for prefetching links in the background so that they would be available from the local cache... even though it was on the settings page for the tabbed browser, i completely missed that part...
