I have often had complete lock ups on my computer system resulting from browsing
to a page, opening a new mozilla window, or scrolling down a page. It normally
happens when you action something in a browser. I get this once or twice a day,
for several months now. The results require me to do a reboot. What happens is
that the cursor is still working, but nothing can be clicked on or moved. You
can not return to console by going Ctrl+Alt+F1 or kill X with
Ctrl+Alt+Backspace. You can ssh into the box, but you can not start up X again.
The crashes only ever occur while using mozilla (under different user accounts,
i've tried resetting configuration, reinstall but to no avail), I have never
experenced such a nasty crash from using other applications. I dont know if it
is caused by drawing widgets or by rendering the page. I havn't had a crash
under gallon but i dont use that as much. I have a nvidia card and use there
driver, and suspected that could contribute to the problem, if its a bug in the
hardware and mozilla is the only application to cause it or something.

Hi Andru

Is this still a problem for you - I note that you say it appears to be resolved
in 1.4. If so - can you please close this bug

Thanks
This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
