I do get it on Win 2000. I've checked the box in the prefs dialog and I do get the beep when a popup is blocked. The icon is simply not there. I'm using the Orbit theme on both Win 2000 and Linux, so I don't think it's related to this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Goto Edit/Preferences/Privacy&Security/Popup Windows and select all 3 checkboxes. 2. Goto a website that usually has popups (space.com, netscape.com) Actual Results: I get a beep but I don't see the yellow box in the lower-right hand corner. Expected Results: Beep and display a yellow box in the lower-right hand corner.
I have win2k and with me it doesn't work too.
I did some further testing. With me it belongs to the Pinball Skin. A small empty area occurs left to the connected symbol when a popup is supressed (and the sound occurs). If i click in this area the wellknown menue to "allow popups from this site" pops up. If i change my skin to "Modern" all works fine. Maybe it's though dependent on some wrong skin things.
I just got the latest orbit scheme Orbit3+1 1.3 0.0.7.1 and things are working correctly. It's possible that I was using a more recent version of Orbit at work and an old one at home. I'm gonna mark this as closed.
