[Problem on Mozilla >1.3.1 / All Java plugins available/ Windows] Same problem is also affecting Java applets. Java Applets disregard the iframe on top of them.
I've got some more samples that display this. Firefox linux exhibits the problem whereas mozilla 1.6 on windows doesn't. Trying 1.7, but that's another bug report...
Created attachment 146775 [details] iframe html file the other required files are coming... to include one more HTML and a swf
This may be in gecko and not limited to firefox.
My system is Mandrake 10 Community kernel 2.6.3-mdk verified behavior in mozilla-1.7 rc1 flash player 6.79 and I'm also getting this error in the console when clicking on the buttons in the attached examples: Gtk-WARNING **: invalid cast from `GtkSuperWin' to `GtkWidget' FWIW
BUG 227470 is possibly related to this bug as well.
I think this is more a layout, view rendering problem. Changing component. The attached testcase here seems broken, needs to be fixed. The url doesn't work anymore.
Component: General → Layout: View Rendering
Product: Firefox → Core
Version: unspecified → Trunk
http://posttool.com/firefox_bug/index.html I have posted illustration of the bug. I can post more illustrations if someone is interested.
Fixed in Firefox 3.6 by bug 339548.
