While seeing it in a tab window, it almost freeze my computer by requiring changin g continuously the window title => X was very busy with those requests. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a tab window 2. Go to www.olitec.fr 3. Actual Results: CPU usage rise and I almost can't do anything more. I had to ssh to my computer from another one to kill mozilla The problem is maybe more X related or tech evangelism ?
No high CPU Usage using build 2003060304, Windows 2000. Pentium III, 500 Mhz
WFM: Mozilla 1.5a Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030604 No unusual CPU usage or delays.
Are you running Mozilla over a remote X connection? With a local X, there is not much CPU usage there.... The other possibility is that this is a problem with the window manager being used...
I am using sawfish.

Still high CPU usage with Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040413 Debian/1.6-5, mozilla is almost unusable, but I can close the tab. Did someone test it with sawfish as window manager (under gnome) ?
