Clipping a DIV to 'rect(auto auto 0px auto)' clips images, but text is not
clipped at all.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

Actual Results:
Text was not clipped

Expected Results:
Text should have been clipped
Attached file Demonstrates the bug
This has changed. Now style.clip takes proper effect on all elements, but it
will only show the first time you assign to it. Any assignments after that won't
show up until you cause mozilla to redraw (for example, putting another window
over top).
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
Summary: .style.clip = 'rect(auto auto 0px auto)' doesn't clip text → .style.clip doesn't cause a redraw
Works fine in Fx 2.0 and trunk.
