User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030507
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030507
I switched from using Netscape 7.02 to Mozilla 1.4Beta recently, and all my
emails can get downloaded except for my netscape account. The error I get is
"Failed to connect to server imap.mail.netcenter.com". If I go to
my.netscape.com, I can get the mail, but not via the mail & newsgroups route.
Under Netscape 7.02 I never had that problem.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to Mail & Newsgroups, under the Window icon in Mozilla
2.Click on Netscape Webmail alanstolpen17
3.Get the error message "Failed to connect to server imap.mail.netcenter.com"
Actual Results:
Get the error message "Failed to connect to server imap.mail.netcenter.com"
Expected Results:
downloaded my email.
Note that I have no problem with Mozilla downloading my other email accounts:
astolpen@blast.net and ahstolpen@patmedia.net

see release notes: this is intentional.

AOL Mail and Netscape WebMail Accounts
Mozilla does not integrate with AOL Mail and Netscape WebMail, as Netscape 6/7
do. If you share your Netscape 6/7 profile with Mozilla, you may be able to see
headers for messages in the account's Inbox if you have previously checked one
of these accounts in Netscape 6/7, but you will be unable to interact with the
messages. To access your AOL Mail, WebMail, or Netscape Instant Messenger, you
need to use Netscape 6/7.
