User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1) Opera 7.11 [en] Build Identifier: Mozilla 1.4RC1 Sometime ago, I installed Multizilla for versions of Mozilla below 1.4 on Mozilla 1.3 on Windows 98. Everything worked fine until about a week later when I discovered I was unable to click on text links. I reinstalled Mozilla, but forgot to uninstall it first. Then my Mozilla wouldn't load. I did a clean uninstall and reinstalled. It loaded, but the problem persisted. When Mozilla 1.4a and 1.4b came out, I took the opportunity to try out the latest alpha version of Multizilla with it. To my horror, the problem persisted. Upon Mozilla 1.4RC1's release, I tried again, this time with Windows XP(same hardware, except an upgrade of RAM). The problem persisted. Finally, with no resort, I filed this report with Bugzilla. I chose to file this problem on both the Multizilla and Mozilla websites because it's quite a doozy, and it's been a great cause of consternation to me. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Multizilla from multizilla.mozdev.org 2. Attempt to click on any text-link(strangely client-side imagemaps work) Actual Results: Nothing happened. Expected Results: Opened the link. Strangely, this problem doesn't appear to have surfaced with anyone else. My computer is a mainstream PC with the following specs: 9.3 gigabyte HDD, 1 gigabyte free Pentium 3 Processor running at 733MHz 256 megabytes of RAM(used to be 128 megabytes, where the problem first surfaced) Windows XP(used to be Windows 98, where the problem first surfaced) The problem is certainly reproducible on my computer, but I have not tried it with any other Windows machines yet. If I can, I will keep you posted, but it's unlikely I will be able to reproduce it on the other computers since no-one else using this combination appears to have reported it.
OS: Windows XP → Windows 98
Please clarify what you uninstalled/reinstalled. Do the following: 1. Uninstall Mozilla 2. Delete the Mozilla program directory AND the plugin directory 3. reinstall the latest version of Mozilla into a new directory. Do NOT install Multizilla. 4. Report here whether the problem persists.

It indeed works now. I already had the initiative to do that, and it worked. Clean reinstalling Multizilla brought the problem back, however. Well, at least Mozilla works. I really miss Multizilla's functionality though.
