Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Grisoft's Antivirus software appears to have no effect on Mozilla, and will neither scan incoming mail or outgoing mail for virii. (Yes, I realize this could just as easily be Grisoft's problem. It could just be that the software doesn't recognize Mozilla as vice versa.) Nevertheless, I thought I should mention this in case there's something that can be done for future Mozilla Mail releases that would make antivirus compatiblity easier. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Installing, unintalling and reinstalling the antivirus software. 2. Run Mozilla Mail, and see no antivirus scanning taking place (as it does with Eurora or Outlook). Actual Results: No antivirus scanning message at the bottom of either incoming or outgoing email. Expected Results: See above. I'm making a similar inquiry to Grisoft itself, but if anyone knows anything about this, I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks. :)
Does not seem to be security sensitive, removing flag. I am almost 100% certain the antivirus software does not recognize Mozilla and therefore does not do scanning. Please let us know what you hear from Grisoft.

it's not mozilla's problem. it's all up to the antivirus program.
