This is a variant on 102380.  If you use an external application (such as
Mail.app) to download a file (such as the Mozilla build above), you will wind up
with a blank window.  

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Set Mozilla as the default web browser.
2.  Fire up Mail.app 
4.  Send yourself an email with the body <a
href="http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.4rc1/mozilla-mac-MachO-1.4rc1.dmg.gz">Test</a>
5.  When the mail arrives, click on the link.

Actual Results:  
Mozilla downloaded the link, but left a window open.

Expected Results:  
Downloaded the file and closed the window.

I understand this occurs on all platforms.  Our system drives this problem
constantly to the point where I would special case Mozilla and write an
AppleScript to close the window manually, except that the AS support for
manipulating brower windows is not functional/docuemented.

FWIW, most of the browsers I have tried this on (e.g. IE, Safari) do not behave
this way.

I can confirm this bug also occurs on Mozilla 1.8a4 (8/28/04 build) under MacOSX
10.3.5.

The specific URL no longer exists, but here's the current version of it, which
exhibits the problem:
