If you have Yahoo Messenger installed, Yahoo Address Book enables an option to
transfer contacts that have a Yahoo ID from the Address Book to the Messenger
contact list. This option is visible when editing a contact in Address Book,
below the Yahoo ID field. When using Mozilla, this option is not visible.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install and run Yahoo Messenger (http://messenger.yahoo.com/)
2. Go to http://address.yahoo.com/
3. Log in (can use user: mozdebug, password: mozilla)
4. Below the list of contacts is box labelled "Quick Add Contacts". Enter the
following information:
First Name: Matt
Last Name: Seitz
Email: mseitz@yahoo.com
5. Click the "Add" button at the right hand side of the "Quick Add Contacts" box
6. "Matt Seitz" should now appear in the list of contacts. Click the "Edit"
link to the right of "Matt Seitz". This will take you to the Edit Contact screen.
Actual Results:
Nothing appears between the "Yahoo ID" field and the "Nickname" field
Expected Results:
A check box labelled "Add this user to my Messenger friend list in the following
group" should appear below the "Yahoo ID" field.

Reporter: this is probably done by Yahoo because they don't know how to make it
work in Mozilla - is the problem still there?
You could try contacting Yahoo and ask them if the option is supported on other
browsers than IE.

Matt, I just tried this with MSIE6 and I don't see the checkbox to transfer the
information to messenger there either. Have they removed this "feature"
altogether? Marking fixed. Please reopen if you disagree.

The feature is still present. Note the checkbox under the Yahoo ID in the
attached screenshot.

I swear this was not there when I tested in both IE and Mozilla earlier today.
I think we are getting round robin servers or something. Either way, I tested
this in Mozilla twice tonight and was able to add the yahoo id to my messenger
friends list both times.
