Some thoughts, which may be totally wrong, but something to try anyway. Take a look at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;261156 and at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;165581 either of which might help your problem.
Using 1.5, the URL http://sunsolve.sun.com, causes a GPF in GDI.EXE. We searched the page source using LINUX mozilla for foriegn characters, and found some peculiar graphics characters entered as html entities, ex: &raquo.
Please ignore my previous comment, wrong bug. sorry...

Herman, Can you comment / possibly close the bug? (Reporter, Roger, has not responded to email in almost a month)
(In reply to comment #6) > Herman, Can you comment / possibly close the bug? > > (Reporter, Roger, has not responded to email in almost a month) I'm closing this bug as invalid, as there is no chance of fixing it anymore. It is about an error in an unstable 3 years old alfa version of Mozilla. I assume this bug won't be in the final 1.4.x, or depends on some Windows DLL needing an update. Exactly today I deinstalled Mozilla 1.4.2, so I can't test this bug. But as 1.4.2 isn't supported any more, last versions 1.4.3 and 1.4.4 can be downloaded in source code, not as binaries, anyone seeing a bug in Mozilla 1.4.x should think about switching to last official Mozilla Suite version 1.7.12 (development stopped) or its living follower Seamonkey. Or switch to the standalone applications Firefox Browser, Thunderbird Mail, nVu HTML-Editor
