User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030529 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030529 The navigation bar images on the top of the www.salon.com page are not visible but the link is available to those pages. When I tell it to load the image on a separate page it does load so ImageLib may not be the right place to report it but I wasn't sure where else to do so. On the www.cnn.com page no images accompanying stories are loaded. Clearing cache, cookies does not work. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open mozilla 2. Goto the webpage (www.salon.com, www.cnn.com) Actual Results: The page came up but the specified images did not. Expected Results: It should have displayed the navigation bar images in www.salon.com and the images accompanying the stories on www.cnn.com This bug was reported as bug# 157303 however it was reported as a BeOS bug and I thought it might be useful to report it under WinXP Professional (version 2002)
What the layout of the page should look like if bug were not present.
What is you image pref set to? Edit->Preferences->Privacy & Security->Images? If you have "no images" or "images only from originating server" you won't see the images. Accept all images will have them show. To verify. Set pref to "Images only from originating server" and go to http://images.salon.com, images are shown. There is an open bug somewhere about "images from originating server" should be able to match www.salon.com to images.salon.com. Marking invalid NOTE: if this is not the case, please re-open.

Thank you Jim, that solution did resolve the issue. I will maintain the "show only originating server images" unselected however I have had this option selected since I realized it was there (at least version 1.3) and I never experienced that image problem. There might be more to this.
