User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030612 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030612 Went to www.newegg.com in a new tab with 1.4rc2. Site never loads. RC2 was installed in a new directory with the cache clear out prior to surfing. Saw the same forever loading symptom with Firebird 0.6. Loads in a snap with IE. Newegg changes their homepage frequently, so this may be some combination of images/etc... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to www.newegg.com. 2. Wait for page to load. 3. Wait some more. Actual Results: Page takes forever to load. Expected Results: Should load quickly as I've seen with most sites I've checked with RC2.
WFM in firebird 0.6 (CVS based source) - Linux. It is loaded without problem. Maybe if you clean your cache it could help ?!
The site eventually loads after a long time (>4mins) with Moz1.4rc2, and will load fairly quickly after that, but if I clear the cache, it spins on the url for a long time. It's still going after two minutes while I write this. I also have it spinning in a FB 0.6 tab right now also. It loads in a snap just now on IE. This is on Win2K, by the way. I also thought it might be due to dropped packets with my Netgear router (with firewall) - I checked the log and saw some reported, but it loads in a snap on IE.
Re-tried newegg.com. Now WFM. I can't explain what has changed, but thought I'd report what I was seeing since it was on Moz 1.4rc2 as well as FB 0.6. It might also have been what newegg had on their page this morning vs how it has changed since...
marking wfm per reporter comment. If it shows up again, please reopen.
