User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030526 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030526 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 When you use the auto search feature of php.net to look up a function definition... http://www.php.net/preg_replace The page redirects and eventually loads the page with the definition on it. The title displays in the browser window's title bar, but before the page finished loading, firebird crashes. I don't know if it is the redirects, or something on the page itself. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.php.net/preg_replace 2. 3. Actual Results: Browser window dissappeared. Expected Results: Displayed the page
Rob, this works fine for me using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030619 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 Since you're using a very old build I'd kindly ask you to download latest nightly from http://komodo.mozilla.org/pub/firebird/nightly/latest-trunk/ and to install it into a _new_ directory. By calling MozillaFirebird with option "-p" you should create an additional new profile and finally come back with any information you get! Note: your original settings and bookmarks won't get lost by creating a new profile!
Whiteboard: old build & profile => WFM?
You're right. A newer build doesn't seem to crash on that page. Thanks.
Resolving WFM per comment #2. Rob, please feel free to re-open this bug report if problem re-occurs, but please always re-test your problems with latest nightly build and vanilla profile before (re-)opening any bug report - thanks a lot for doing so! => resolving & removing status whiteboard
