I think it would be really useful if Mozilla would allow you to "fold" the view
of HTML pages like outline mode or folding mode in emacs. I'm not sure what the
best interface would be, maybe a plus/minus or a Mac-style triangle widget next
to each heading. Pressing it would toggle the sub-parts under the heading being
shown.

This would be better dealt with using an extension. I would recommend taking
this up with the mozdev people.
Marking WONTFIX unless someone higher up decides this is something we want to
add. (I imagine an implementation would involve some XBL bound to <hx> elements
or some such.)
