Details

first- the tar file seems to be incomplete, I tried downloading with netscape and with lftp and both seemed to get to 100% but never ended the transmission. The last thing I get out of the tar file is the README_M11_Solaris2.7.txt file in the root dir. Second- I haven't downloaded a milestone build before, and it would be helpful to have instructions on how to install and run this build- I assume no installation is needed, and that run-mozilla is correct. Stick this in a README.mozilla or something- the current readme is not too useful for testers IMO. Finally, the real problem (I think). When I ./run-mozilla.sh nothing appears; it just sits there. When I kill -9 it (ctrl-c does nothing), the rlogin session also dies (if I run on another machine) or when I run it locally the shell dies with it. For more information/things I can do to help narrow this down, please drop me a line. /sup/build/mozilla-sparc-sun-solaris2.7/bin > ./run-mozilla.sh MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/sup/build/mozilla-sparc-sun-solaris2.7/bin LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/sup/build/mozilla-sparc-sun-solaris2.7/bin:/usr/openwin/lib:/usr/lib:/lib:/usr/ucblib:/sup/lib MOZ_PROGRAM=viewer MOZ_TOOLKIT= moz_debug=0 moz_debugger= ~/misc/photos > uname -a SunOS bernin 5.7 Generic_106541-02 sun4m sparc SUNW,SPARCstation-5 ~/misc/photos > rsh santana uname -a SunOS santana 5.7 Generic sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-5_10 ~/misc/photos >
I think run-mozilla.sh is just a helper script, try: ./mozilla
