This is a request for a 'split' bar that can be used to divide the view source
window into two (or four), each being separately scrollable. An example of
similar functionality can be found in TextPad.

This would be useful for visually comparing lins and blocks of source in the
same page. Current work around would be to open multiple instances of View Source.

viewsource is meant to be a simple tool, nothing complex like this.

Re-opening.

I agree thew default viewsource should be kept simple, but can't this be done in
an extension to Mozilla Firebird.

Changing Product to Mozila Firebird (bz:Phoenix) and adding helpwanted keyword.
I actually asked for an "extension" keyword in bug 210546

Clearly a dupe of bug 172817. An external source editor/viewer would allow all
of this. And don't reopen this again. This either a dupe or a wontfix. And
extension requests shouldn't be filed here in bugzilla but in the mozzine forums
or in the newsgroups.
