Description

Win_nt 4.0 (1999-12-07-12 M12)
Steps:
1. Launch Messenger
2. Select a message that contains a url:
	http://home.netscape.com
3. click on the url

Actual result: No response

Expected result: It should display the url's webpage

Unable to test today's Linux and Mac builds. (both crashes when launch
Messenger)

fenella, make sure you have a browser window open as well as a mail window. Now
click on the link. You should see it opened in the browser window now.

I just tried this on a 12/06 commercial build and it worked fine. The url was
loaded in the browser...I'll try it on a 12/7 build when my build is done.

using as 12/07 build this worked fine for me. The url was dispatched to my
browser window. I event got the pop up ad! =(

I'd like to mark this as works for me or as a duplicate of another bug where you
need the browser window open in order to dispatch urls to it.

I follow Scott M.'s instruction, have the browser open. Indeed. It opens the
webpage in the browser.
For some reason, I exit and re-launch, using the same scenario, the url was
dispatched to the Message pane.
It is strange. Earlier, it did not respond when I click on the url. And I tried
it several times too.
Anyway. I agree to mark this worksforme.
