Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030623 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030623 When providing the client browser with the proxy authentication challenge box (requesting the user's proxy ID and password), Netscape 4.7x and IE6 both display the text configured in the Netscape proxy server configuration. Mozilla 1.4RC3 displays the proxy authentication request, but doesn't incorporate the "authentication text" provided by the proxy server. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add a text sting under the Restrict Access section of the Netscape Proxy server 2. IE6 and Netscape 4.7x display it, Mozilla doesn't. 3. Expected Results: Incorporate tauthentication text provided by the proxy server into the proxy authentication challenge. This feature can be used to describe the service the user is accessing. Lacking it reduces clarity.
