User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Twice I have had the situation where SENDmail timed out (on separate emails) and would not deliver the mail. I had to completely exit out of Mozilla and restart and then SENDmail worked OK. Both times I had multiple mail windows open (as I often do and wish I could prevent any but one from opening at a time) but I do not know if this had anything to do with it. When this happened, I put the mail in SEND LATER and it would not send from there either. Both times, I was able to BROWSE and GETMAIL when I could not SEND mail. Exiting Mozilla and reloading fixed it. Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: SMTP client should not lock up.

This problem was reported in JUNE 2003. It was in ver 1.4. Ihave not had this problem since 1.5beta. Thanks Joe Mehaffey
In the "Advanced Outgoing Sever (SMTP) Settings" dialogue box, NO matter which SMTP server is set default, always the first/top SMTP server in the list is used. Fail as a different ISP is used.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040608 (n.b. 1.7 RC3) This is also happening to me - same symptoms and restart cure. Did not happen on 1.7 RC2.
