When I click on any speaker icon with lauches the player window, I can choose
the preferred players: Player365, Real Player or MP3 Player. When I try to use
Real Player (have latest RealOne) and open a stream, I get a JavaScript
Application error saying "document.PlayerControl.GetPlayState is not a
function", and of course no audio starts.
I then go to help->re-run listening wizard, and try it with their plug-in
Player365, and got an even odder result. The player window pops up, blinks a
bit, reopens a slightly bigger blank window, closes that, opens player window
again, blinks, resizes to player, etc., repeating it over and over till I force
it to close. I want my live365!
It does work if I open MP3 player and have it run WinAmp, but that's not the way
I want to do it. I'd be happy if this were working in the next release guys.
Thanks.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click any station on Live365, on the yellow speaker icon
2.Tell it to use Real Player
3.Press play button on that pop-up player
Actual Results:
JavaScript Application error saying "document.PlayerControl.GetPlayState is not
a function"
Expected Results:
Start the stream

I don't think this should be marked a duplicate of bug 56532. Yes, comment 1
mentions the Player365 problem that is covened in bug 56532. But this bug is
primarily about problems accessing Live365.com using the Real Player option.
This results in the "document.PlayerControl.GetPlayState is not a function"
error message mentioned in comment 1. That is a different problem than bug 56532.
I agree that this bug is not a duplicate of 56532. I have the exact same problem
described here ("document.PlayerControl.GetPlayState is not a function") with
live365.com with build 20031216.
