when entering the site, you get the message:

האתר מומלץ לצפייה באקספלורר 5 ומעלה רזולוציה מינימלית 600*800.

"the site is reccomended for viewing with explorer 5 and above minimal
resolution 800*600"

my resolution is 1024*768, so this can't be the problem :)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to the site

Actual Results:  
browser is blocked

Expected Results:  
should see the site

the site, called Essence of Life, is an attempt of a local billionair to bring
some peace to the world. i can't have peace when my favorite browser is blocked,
and it proves that money is not a problem for fixing the site.

on July 1st i sent an email to the above email. today i received a response,
that says generally that explorer is the most common browser, and contrary to
other browsers has full hebrew support, and he is sure that a small detail as
using another browser is not such a big problem. he wished me peace, light and
much love.

my response will follow, in a few days.

my response to him:

proffessionals [that recommended building for IE - t.a.] will recommend building
for IE only because it's cheaper and allows them to offer you a lower price.

the claim that IE is the most common browser is pointless. Subaru is the most
common car in Israel, but no one will build roads that match only the width of
Subaru, and ask people that don't have it to buy one. the internet was designed
to be accesible for many platforms, not one.

other browsers, like mozilla nad it's deriviatives, Konquerer and Safary also
have hebrew support.

there are an estimated 15,000 Mac users in israel. IE for mac doesn't support
hebrew. there are thousands others that use linux. for 20,000 people, using IE
is not a small technical detail.

supporting more than one browser is not more work. just make sure your site is
as compatible as possible to W3C standards, with the limitations of standards
support of the various browsers. it has other advantages too.

i hope you will reconsider your position.

i didn't tell him what i stand for yet (mozilla hebrew L10n), but he may start
to suspect by now.

would someone cofirm this bug?

CONFIRMED on camino nightly (sorry for dealy- I am a bit away as of now).
tsahi- as you are in contact with the site, you should assign the bug to
yourself (if you can bugzilla wise)

no response so far. i sent them another email asking if they intend to change
their mind, and most of the evangelism letter.

It is possible to access the site, as the blocking script have been removed. The most annoying problem is the navigation menu which is hidden, as its background is Flash object.

Site have been redesigned since last comment. Seems to be compatible with Mozilla. Tashi - what do you say?
