User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 I install the calendar for every new build of Mozilla. Until 1.4RC2 no problem, but now with the 1.4 the link on de calendar-projectpage doesn't run the XPI-script anymore, it just shows the xpi in strange signs in the browser-window. I tested another XPI on the "XPInstall Trigger Page". That installed well, without problems. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to Mozilla > projects 2. click on the link: "Install June 12th" (1.4 Beta, Latest Release and Latest Nightlies) 3. Actual Results: the xpi doesn't start installing, just shows the content in strange signs in the browser- window Expected Results: install tthe calendar component
afterwards I tried downloading the xpi to my local system first and installing it afterwards. That works fine.
calendar install 12th of june (Win)-link on calendar-project page works now. I've got no idea why, but it works. Nothing has changed in my mozilla configuration since the bug...
