In the interests of international understanding, I would like the request that Bugzilla's on-page date representation be changed to the very considerably less internationally-ambiguous YYYY-MM-DD Thankee!

Fantastic, it looks like this was actually fixed for any comments added later than a few days ago. Good work. Closing the bug... how's that for short-lived? =)

Not sure if this comment should be a whole new bug or not, so I'm placing it here (but letting y'all decide whether to reopen it). The notification emails use the date format YYYY-DD-MM. for example: Additional Comments From mikem 2003-11-07 for a comment that was added today. My users have noted some confusion on this. Can this be made consistent with the date format on the bug display page? (I'm running version 2.17.4)
