User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624

Infrequently, I try and send an email and Mozilla Mail will tell me that it is
unable to connect to the SMTP server. Other computers on the LAN can connect to
the SMTP server just fine at this time when Mozilla cannot Browsing the internet
is also possible during this time. Mozilla can GET email just fine from the
server, but "something" has caused the ability for SMTP to connect to the mail
server to fail.

When this happens, the only solution is to exit Mozilla and reload and then
SMTP outgoing will restored to operation.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1.This seems a random occurance and not a reporducable problem. Have not
noticed this is prior releases of Mozilla.
2.
3.

In the "Advanced Outgoing Sever (SMTP) Settings" dialogue box, NO matter which
SMTP server is set default, always the first/top SMTP server in the list is
used. Fail as a different ISP is used.

Reporter, does problem still remain?
Please note that you said Bug 211075, which you opend three days ago of this bug
