Build Date & Platform Bug Found: Win32 commercial seamonkey build 1999-12-07-16-m12 installed on P166 Win98 Linux commercial seamonkey build 1999-12-07-15-m12 installed on P200 RedHat 6.1 Macos commercial seamonkey build 1999-12-07-16-m12 installed on G3/400 OS 8.6 Overview Description: In Page Composer or HTML mail editor, highlighted text is removed when I try to apply some text formatting such as bold, italic, underline, or changing font. This occurs if I use the composer toolbar or options from the formatting menu. This occurs on all platforms. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Open Page Composer or HTML mail editor 2) Type some text in the message body 3) Highlight text 4) Try to bold the text. The text disappears. Actual Results: The highlighted text I try to bold disappears. Expected Results: It should apply the formatting I specified. Additional Builds and Platforms Tested On: This worked in the previous mail stone. I don't know when it broke. Additional Information: This bug is probably a duplicate but I could find it in bugzilla. It likely that someone in the editor group has this bug.
