When in the address book, clicking "new list" after multiple selections of
addresses, the window comes up with an empty set to create a new list

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Address Book
2. Select Multiple Addresses
3. Click on "New List"

Actual Results:  
A window opens to create the new list, but with no entries in it

Expected Results:  
Selected addresses should have been populated into the list, similar to the
behaviour of the "Compose" button under similar circumstances.

Resetting severity.  You can just name the list and save it, and your selected
entries will remain selected for you to drag & drop right into the list.

I suggest instead that New Mailing List is in the same category as New Address
Card -- You don't expect it to be prepopulated.  But a context menu item would
be useful.  See bug 64030 for implementing context menus in addressbook.

When multiple address cards are selected in Addressbook, it would be nice to
have a context menu item (or other method) to populate a new mailing list with
those addresses.  As seen in the original report, this might sometimes be
expected as the behavior of the New List toolbar button.

Old summary: Selecting multiple addresses in Address Book to create list doesn't

David, do you see this in the future for address book?  

IMO this would be an infrequently used short cut for a process that already has a well defined solution - namely create a list and populate it - and thefore bloat.  It would be different if there would be a huge productivity gain - but I don't see that either.
