As I click on my profile (binky1095) from profile manager I get this message:

"An error occurred reading the startup configuration file. Please contact your
administrator. Syntax error: illegal character. l (<<< but its not an 'l', its a
dark vertical line) then once I click 'ok', the mozilla.org main page comes up.
My preferences, bookmarks, email everything is gone! This does not happen w/ any
other of the profiles set up.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.click mozilla icon
2.click my profile in profile manager
3.syntax error message appears
