Subject: Messenger Wishlist Date: Wed, 08 Dec 1999 13:47:02 -0500 From: "Brian J. White" <brian@centralad.com> Organization: Central Ad Software, Inc. Newsgroups: netscape.public.mozilla.wishlist 6. Outbox Sending. When queueing multiple messages in the "Unsent Messages" folder, one has to be VERY careful when sending them. With NS 4.7, it's an ALL OR NOTHING event. For example, if you write 20 messages offline, connect to the internet and attempt to send them, the 20 messages will not be moved to the "Sent" folder UNLESS all 20 messages are sent. If, for some reason, your connection is broken mid-way through the send, all 20 messages remain in the "Unsent Messages" folder -- and will ALL BE SENT AGAIN next time you try to send the Outbox. I would think each message would be moved out of the outbox immediately after it has been successfully sent -- NOT after the entire outbox is sent.
