When installing the 1.4 build, I found that the installation left a folder
structure (ns_temp2). 

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download 1.4 release from mozilla.org
2. Save to C:\temp
3. Run installer

Actual Results:  
The installation script left the following directory structure:
C:\TEMP\ns_temp2\xpcom.ns\bin\components

Expected Results:  
delete the temp directories when installation is complete

I was able to reproduce this bug by uninstalling and re-installing with the same
steps

Thank you for the reminder!
I deleted 39 folders (ns_temp through ns_temp39) in my temp directory and gained
about 25 MB space on my harddisk.

Note that step 2 is "optional":
one can run <mozilla-win32-*-installer.exe> from any directory. (and get the bug)

I just got a "cannot create temp directory" error installing new nightly, and
found 100 folders, ns_temp1 through ns_temp100 in my c:\windows\temp folder. 
EACH INSTALL CREATES 20+ folders and does not delete them.  I found folders from
the last several downloads, going back to at least June 2004 in there.

FireFox has it too, on 1.8.0 branch at least.
Its root temp directory is named <ff_temp>.
