Build Date & Platform Bug Found:
MacOS commercial seamonkey build 1999-12-08-08-m12 installed on G3/400 OS 8.6

Overview Description:
Seamonkey crashes when I click on the attachment paperclip icon in a mail
message that contain an attachment. The pop up that suppose to appear with the
attachment name does not display. (If it does appears, it crash so fast I don't
see it.) This worked in yesterday Mac commercial build.

I was trying to save a very simple attachment: text file, gif, and jpeg. The
same test files were used. The test messages were sent from 4.7 win32 RTM.

Steps to Reproduce:
0) From Communicator 4.7, send a plain text message with a text file attachment.
My test message did not have a vcard, signature, signed or encrypted.
1) Launch today commercial Mac build
2) Open Messenger
3) Open your Inbox and log into your account.
I was using my own IMAP inbox.
4) Select the test message you sent from 4.7
The message displays and the text attachment displays inline
5) Click on the attachment paperclip icon in the message envelope.
   Crash to Macsbug.

Actual Results:
It crash to Macsbugs when I click on the paperclip icon.

Expected Results:
As I click on the paperclip icon, it should pop up a menu listing all my
attachment. I should be able to select an attachment name which will bring up
the Save as dialog.

Additional Builds and Platforms Tested On:
This problem worked yesterday Mac commercial build 1999-12-07-08-m12

Additional Information:
I will attach my Macsbug file.

fyi,
This problem does not occur on Win32 (1999-12-08-09-m12) or linux (1999-12-08-08-

Sorry, no ideas here. Sounds like an infrastructure issue.

Works fine for me with a debug build from this morning and with some fixes in
editor and widget.

fyi, I retested with the Mac commercial seamonkey build 1999-12-08-08-m12 and now
I can not reproduce the problem. I threw away my exiting build and re-installed
seamonkey using the Netscape5 binary and re-migrated a profile. I'm don't know.
I still plan to re-test as soon as today verification build before verifying this
build.

Verified as fixed using the Mac commercial seamonkey build 1999-12-09-10.
Saving attachment no longer crashes. I tested saving under POP and IMAP. :-)
