Java applet is a crossword puzzle. Entering keyboard strokes is supposed to
enter letters into puzzle. Intermittent problem of find in page activating and
pointing to letters in page. Recent upgrade from 1.3 to 1.4. Problem appeared.
Upgraded to Java 1.4.2. Same problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.load page
2.Select difficulty.
3.Start entering keystrokes

Actual Results:  
Find in page finds letters in page after 4 - 8 keystrokes

Expected Results:  
Letters entered in to puzzle.
Summary: Find ahead jumping to text in page instead of entering letters to java program → Find As You Type stealing keypresses from java applet
Worksforme with 1.7 beta on winXP. I'm able to type easily into the puzzle.
Tested with Mozilla and Firefox and JRE 1.5 beta.
