User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; NetCaptor 6.2.1) Build Identifier: current version 1.4 of mozilla (10.7.2003) I installed the current version 1.4 of Mozilla and got an access violation 0xC0000005 in XPCOM.DLL. I can send you some hardcopies, if you want. If I reinstall Mozilla 1.3 (the version I currently running) all works fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install Version 1.4 (over 1.3) 2.Access violation (I think, while starting the browser) 3.
have a look at Bug 205277 Moz 1.4b - crash on startup in XPCOM.dll, there are lots of suggestions.
