Mozilla.exe shows an error when trying to start.
Error is:

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.install any of the packages provided on the mentioned page
2.start mozilla.exe

Actual Results:  
A window with the error-msg shows up

Expected Results:  
start up

My system is WinXP Pro. I have installed and working Mozilla 1.3.1
Version: Trunk → 1.4 Branch
Delete your previous installation before installing 1.4 (you can keep the
plugins directory).

Also read the release notes:
"Note: It is recommended that you uninstall previous versions of Mozilla before
installing Mozilla. This will not delete your bookmarks, history, cookies and
other information which is stored in your profile directory."

AND _READ_ the ReadMe: 
"If you are experiencing crashes on startup in xpcom.dll it is very likely that
there is an incompatibility with some third-party extension. To work around this
problem, uninstall your previous version of Mozilla, and completely delete the
Mozilla install directory before performing the new install. You will not lose
your profile data (such as bookmarks, preferences and cookies) but any third
party extensions and plugins may be lost".
