RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 115458

People

(Reporter: setzer, Assigned: security-bugs)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624

When an image is blocked, its shape remains invisible.
However, when it's a link, one can accidentally click it.

I think mozilla should show that there was an image, and that it's blocked
(maybe with a square with a big red X in it?)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.browse any website
2.right-click an image with a link on it, and select Block Images from this Server
3.Reload.

Actual Results:
The image is effectively blocked, an empty space is there, and one can
right-click it to unblock the image. However, the [no]image is still clickable,
and it might not be that easy to right-click it to unblock the image.

Expected Results:
The image gets blocked, and replaced by a "This image was blocked"-like image of
the same size, so the user sees that an image was effectively blocked, that it
was at this one spot, and he/she might unblock it if needed.
