User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030712 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030712 If have a folder of my first account open, and the top folder of that account has ben scrolled off the top of the screen, and then I close the folder by clicking on the little triange, a number of spurious, unnamed folders appear above the main account Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Assuming you have a large enough number of folders and subfolders, starting from a state where all folders are closed: 1. Expand a folder with a large enough number of subfolders to require scrolling to see all of them 2. Scroll the folder window so that the top few are hidden off the top of the folder pane 3. Collapse the folder opened in step 1. Actual Results: A number of spurious folders with no name and no vertical line and no account icon appears above the icon for the first account. Expected Results: The icon of the main account should be repositioned at the top of the folder pane

This is what my mail app looks like when the problem occurs
I have exactly the same problem as described above. Atached is a .zip file containing 5 .gif screenprints showing problem: 1. Expanded folders downward 2. Roll upward past top 3. Get extra blank folders 4. Have to close all folders to reset 5. Similar pblm always when I empty the trash folder

i have a similar problem, but it's not as 'critical' as the one described. (this occurs under mandrake 9.2 beta 2, using gnome 2.3.something) if i have one main folder (lets say containing besides inbox, trash etc. folders 1990-2003, open up one of these folders (containing inbox-jan-xx to inbox-dec-xx, scroll down using the scrollbar, and then close the upper folder (lets say 2002), thunderbird creates an empty space above my main account. sorry for that lousy description, see attached two pictures. This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
