Details

Every nightly build (since approx. one week after M11) crashes at startup on my
PC.

My installation process is as follows:

1. Delete C:\mozzap (installation directory I use for mozilla)
2. Delete C:\Windows\mozregistry.dat
3. Download ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/mozilla-win32.zip
4. Extract to C:\mozzap
5. Double-click on C:\mozzap\bin\mozilla.exe
6. DOS window pops up, displays starting msgs
7. (First time only!) Profile manager starts, accept defaults, Click 'Finish'
8. mozilla.exe crashes:

MOZILLA caused an invalid page fault in
module JS3250.DLL at 0157:609d0537.

9. If I try to execute mozzila.exe again, DOS window appears:

nNCL: registering deferred (0)

Then, the same dump as above.

You need new MSVCRT*.DLL files, see bug 19165. Also, please file browser bugs
against the Browser product in bugzilla, not against Architecture (which is for
design issues, not implementation bugs).
